2. Does Greensboro Dermatology Associates see patients of all ages and are you taking new patients?

Yes, we see patients with dermatological needs for both pediatric and adult care. Greensboro Dermatology continues to take new patients into our practice.

3. What is the best way for me to schedule an appointment at Greensboro Dermatology Associates?

Call Greensboro Dermatology Associates during office hours. 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday – Friday

Greensboro Dermatology Associates has the capability for patients to complete all necessary paperwork prior to their appointment. If you have not already provided us with an email address please contact our office so that we can send you a welcome email to particpate in the patient portal. Completing all necessary paperwork in advance will minimize the time needed prior to arrival.

4. What is the best way for me to get a prescription refilled?

Contact your individual pharmacy and request a prescription refill. Any patients requesting a prescription refill must have been seen and evaluated in our office within the last 12 months.

5. What is the best way to cancel an appointment at Greensboro Dermatology Associates?

Call Greensboro Dermatology Associates to cancel appointments during business hours 8am-5pm 336-954-7546.  Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour notice or failure to keep your appointment will be charged as follows:  Established patients will be charged a $30 no show fee.  New patient will be charged a $50 no show fee.  Cancelling appointments with 24 hour prior notice will help GDA work-in other patients with urgent needs.

6. How do I contact someone if I have a dermatologic emergency when your office is closed?

Call Greensboro Dermatology Associates (336-954-7546) and listen to the phone message. The message will tell you which physician is on-call for your dermatologic emergency. This on-call number is not to be used for prescription refills.

7. What insurance companies do Greensboro Dermatology Associates participate with?

Greensboro Dermatology Associates participates with most major carriers, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, Medcost, and Medicare. We participate with several HMO Medicare plans for a complete listing please contact Greensboro Dermatology Associates or refer to your participant information from your carrier.

8. Will I be required to make my co-pay or co-insurance at the time of my visit?
